" Jose was an excellent guide - at the right times knowledgable, empathic, kind and funny. The trip was timed to perfection - it was a very hot day and we had a lot of ground to cover, but we never felt rushed adn had plenty of time at each location. Jose regularly checked in to make sure we were seeing the things we wanted to see - he also directed us to the best of the local shops to try some tasty food. We were also very grateful for the recommendations Jose made for the rest of our time in Kyoto."

" Milo was an incredible guide! He was one of the all time best we have ever had. His walking tour of Kyoto hit so many highlights. He was very considerate about asking if we wanted to take breaks. He did a great job of combining the history and important sites we needed to see but mixing in fun, coffee, shops, and unique places to try street food that was specific to the area. All of his recommendations were spot on! His English is perfect and he is incredibly knowledgeable. To make matters even more impressive, due to no fault of his own, we completely messed up our arrival and showed up two hours late and he still gave us the entire full tour which he certainly did not have to do. If you have Milo as your guide you are very lucky!!! "

" Our trip to Kyoto was simply perfect. We did a full day tour with Jose and couldn't have been more pleased with everything. Not only did we see all the best sites at the perfect times to avoid crowds, but we also learned so much about the sites, the history, and modern-day means to get around seamlessly. Our tour was the first full day of our 3 full days in Kyoto, which I would highly recommend. Jose pointed out all the best places to see, shop, and, very importantly, eat. Enjoying really good authentic Japanese food can be hard in a city / country that has 10 small restaurants or more in every city block."
