Booking and Payment Booking and Payment: All reservations should be secured beforehand via our website or authorized booking channels. Depending on the chosen tour, either full payment or a deposit might be necessary at the time of booking. Prices are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY) and include any applicable taxes unless specified differently. We accept major credit cards and other payment options as detailed on our website. ​ Cancellation and Refund Policy Cancellations announced at least two days prior to the scheduled tour will be eligible for a full refund unless specified otherwise. Cancellations made within 48 hours or in cases of no-shows are non-refundable. Japan Cultural Trails reserves the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen events such as severe weather or safety issues, in which case participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. ​ Tour Participation and Conduct Participants are required to arrive at the designated meeting location at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start; arriving late may lead to forfeiture of the tour without reimbursement. All participants must adhere to the safety instructions given by the tour guide, as Japan Cultural Trails disclaims responsibility for injuries caused by reckless conduct or neglect of safety protocols. Additionally, Japan Cultural Trails reserves the right to deny service or dismiss any participant who is disruptive, intoxicated, or a safety hazard, without offering a refund. ​ Changes to Tours Japan Cultural Trails retains the authority to alter the itinerary in response to weather conditions, road closures, or other unexpected events. In the event of major modifications, participants will be informed ahead of time, and alternative options will be provided whenever feasible. ​ Liability and Insurance Japan Cultural Trails disclaims liability for any injuries, loss, theft, or damage to personal items that occur during the tour. We highly advise participants to obtain travel insurance that includes coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal property protection. ​ Photography and Media Japan Cultural Trails reserves the right to capture photographs or videos during their tours for promotional use. By joining the tour, you consent to the use of these images unless you submit a written request to opt out prior to the event.
